Important Information Regarding Brentwood & COVID-19

COVID-19

Updated: 4/29/2020

Executive Summary:
At this time all Brentwood sites are operational. Our Indian facility reopened production this week, following a shutdown that was mandated by the Indian government. Our workforce is committed to continued support of our customers during the COVID-19 outbreak and our supply stream remains strong.  As always we will get through this today, tomorrow, and together.

The Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be top of mind as each of us experiences the influx of information and daily developments, which cause questions and uncertainty in the world around us. We are working diligently to ensure the health and safety of our customers, our employees, and our communities. I wanted to reach out personally to let you know what you can expect from Brentwood during this period of concern.

We are thinking of those who have been personally impacted and doing our part to slow the spread of the disease. We continue to monitor the situation closely, follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other local and national health organizations.

You can take comfort in knowing what we are doing to provide safety and protection:

1. In addition to regular cleaning, which is part of our normal course of business, we have instructed our associates to increase practices with additional cleaning of high-touch surfaces and objects.
2. We recommend all employees to take precautionary health measures, including frequent hand washing, social distancing, staying home when sick, and pausing all non-essential work travel. In addition, we have enabled all office employees to work remotely.
3. If travel is essential, we ask all Brentwood employees to do the following prior to traveling to customer sites: 1) confirm that the customer is allowing visitors, 2) request that the customer provide their company’s policies related to COVID-19 so that we are aware of expectations and requirements prior to travel, and 3) follow travel recommendations of the CDC and WHO. We ask that you exercise caution if traveling to our sites, as well, and obtain pre-approval for your visit.

While our supply chain streams remain strong and production across all Brentwood sites continues, except for our Indian operation, we are monitoring and taking guidance from local, state, and national officials as new information becomes available and precautions are recommended.

We will continue to keep you informed of any developments regarding COVID-19 as it relates to our production and services. As always, Brentwood remains committed to the health and wellness of our customers and associates. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you through this difficult time and in the future.

Sincerely,
Peter Rye
