The Brentwood Water Group attended the American Water Works Association’s Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE), which took place from June 12 – 14, in our very own back yard! Members of Brentwood’s Water Group traveled the hour and a half down to the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA, to experience all ACE had to offer. The expo was packed full of learning opportunities for employees and plenty of booth traffic.
Our booth this year featured a moving SedVac display which was the center of conversation. The display demonstrates how SedVac removes sediment from water treatment plants: the system glides along a track across the bottom of the clarifier with unique, triangle-shaped headers that are designed to prevent clogging, sucking up more sludge and wasting 50% less water than SedVac’s vacuum pipe system counterparts. The moving display was certainly an eye catcher for attendees as it is 10 ft. long by 6 ft. wide!
After the first day of ACE, Brentwood held a reception or employees and sales representatives at the Top of the Tower/ Sky Philadelphia. The guests enjoyed endless hors d’oeuvres and good company as they watched the sun set over Philadelphia.
