The Process Quality Engineering internship is intended for an Engineering or Technology student focusing on Industry, Polymers, Manufacturing or Drafting. The Process Quality Engineering Intern will perform calibrations of check fixtures used in heavy gauge and will organize and lead gauge R&Rs for measuring instruments used for heavy gauge parts. Scope of work includes using an existing roamer arm measuring tool to scan and analyze CAF inspection fixtures. Produce inspection report and either certify calibration for the fixture or initiate process to repair inspection fixture. Also, develop gauge R&Rs for heavy gauge metrology instruments, organize parts and participants, and facilitate the MSA. Perform the analysis, and provide a report and recommendations depending on whether measuring device is adequate for current use or not. This internship is located in Reading, PA.
