StormTank® Module


The StormTank Module is a subsurface stormwater storage unit commonly used for stormwater retention, detention, infiltration, and rainwater harvesting applications. It is load-rated for use under surfaces such as parking lots and athletic fields, maximizing storage while allowing for utilization of valuable land.

The Module system can be flexibly designed to meet your specific site requirements and achieve compliance with strict runoff regulations. It is easily designed around existing structures and tight constraints, offered in a range of column heights to vary storage capacity, and is stackable to reduce installation footprint.

High Void Space

The Module offers up to the largest void space of any subsurface stormwater management system currently on the market, with models providing as much as 97%.


Open Design

The Module system does not include any internal walls or partitions, allowing for easy inspection and maintenance.


Top & Bottom Panels

High-strength Polypropylene panels (or platens) are engineered for stability and uniformly distribute load to the columns.


Reinforced Columns

PVC columns are designed with reinforcing structural ribs. They are available in five different heights and enable system stackability.


Side Panels

Polypropylene side panels are installed around the perimeter of the Module system to prevent fill material from entering the basin.



The StormTank Module system can be used for many applications, several of which are detailed below.



These systems are used to regulate the flow of stormwater. Typically, they restrict the discharge rate by providing large-volume storage and incorporating an impermeable liner to prevent infiltration.



In infiltration systems, the Module is used to temporarily store runoff until it is able to percolate into the surrounding soil and recharge the groundwater table.


Rainwater Harvesting

These basins utilize an impermeable liner to detain runoff and a pump to circulate grey water, thereby reducing demand on the potable water supply and improving sustainability.


Flood Mitigation

By providing the necessary storage to allow for utilization of previously inaccessible land, these basins compensate for areas that lack or require additional capacity.






Inlet/Outlet Connections

Stormwater needs to be able to flow in and out of the Module system. Our influent/effluent ports provide an easy connection to your drainage system and are available in the standard 12-inch (305 mm) size.


Observation Ports

Brentwood offers two observation port sizes to complement the open design by providing access and ventilation. The ports are constructed of PVC and are available in 6-inch (152 mm) and 10-inch (254 mm) diameters. The 10-inch port allows for access with a vacuum truck hose to facilitate debris removal.


Observation and Saddle Port Kits

These kits simplify the installation process by providing the necessary port, flexible coupling or tap saddle, and surface box, leaving the contractor responsible only for the riser pipe.
