On February 19th, Brentwood’s Relay for Life team held its second annual Designer Bag Bingo to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The event raised over $6,500 and was rightfully deemed a great success. With roughly 200 tickets sold, 20 lucky winners walked away with brand new designer bags. The Brentwood team also worked to secure donations of food as well as some “swag” for basket raffles and door prizes, provided by a number of local businesses. And, of course, a Brentwood wheelbarrow was given away as a prize!
The Relay for Life team sincerely appreciates and gives thanks to all who attended the event. You will also see the Brentwood team raising money for Relay at the annual event which takes place at Exeter High School on June 10th this year.
